As descendants, we are living links who provide a human connection to the Holocaust.
Our mission is to educate our neighbors about the personal impact of hatred and intolerance by empowering descendants of Holocaust survivors to share their families’ stories and keep their memories alive, while creating a supportive community for 3Gs.
Our Speakers Bureau proudly serves communities throughout New England.

3G Boston's Free Speaker program is a powerful contribution to Holocaust education
EMPATHY: We are uniquely positioned to connect with listeners of all ages. We visit classrooms and communities, in-person and virtually, to tell our family stories. We lend a strong personal connection to a history often described in numbers.
URGENCY: As the population of Holocaust survivors declines, their stories should not be lost with them. Now is the time to take responsibility for these stories.
PERSONAL: As a living link to our grandparents’ stories, we are in a special position to elevate the individual experience from the collective. Their stories remind us that history is not just a collection of dates and events but a tapestry of human experiences—of resilience, courage, survival, and sometimes luck.
RELEVANCE TO ALL: The Holocaust serves as an instructive entry point for examining prejudice today. This program will make connections between historical events and issues of intolerance and persecution that remain with us.
SOCIAL ACTION: In a multicultural society, we all have a stake in challenging assumptions. This program will actively engage students to think about ways to confront intolerance and prejudice.
Each story is a testament to the power of hope and the will to live.
PRESS RELEASE: Boston, MA, July 23, 2024
USC Shoah Foundation Forms Partnership with Living Links, The First National Organization for Grandchildren of Holocaust Survivors
In 2023, Boston 3G participated with nearly a dozen independent 3G groups that had formed over the last decade to create Living Links, a national network that offers grandchildren of Holocaust survivors social, educational, and advocacy opportunities in a supportive environment that honors and explores their common and complex legacies. Leaders from Boston 3G participated in strategy sessions and focus groups to develop Living Links’ mission. Boston 3G is one of 14 3G affiliates, with several more in early stages of development. Each 3G organization will maintain its autonomy, while the Living Links—USC Shoah Foundation partnership will provide a professional infrastructure and networks within the field. Read more.
