What does 3G stand for?
- 3G stands for the third generation. We are the grandchildren of the youngest surviving generation of the Holocaust.
How can I become a member of Boston 3G and are there dues?
- Those who are interested in Boston 3G can subscribe to receive our email updates. They are then considered members of our organization. Through our listserve, we notify our members of upcoming Boston 3G events as well as Greater Boston Holocaust events. There are currently no membership dues; however, some events may require a nominal fee and donations are appreciated!
Is the group only for grandchildren of Holocaust survivors?
- Anyone who is interested in becoming a member of Boston 3G is welcome.
Are members mostly secular or religious?
- Boston 3G members are of different religious backgrounds. All are welcome!
What kinds of events does Boston 3G hold?
- Boston 3G organizes diverse programming, including museum tours, film screenings, discussion groups, Shabbat dinners, cultural events, intergenerational events, field trips and social events.
How do I get involved with Boston 3G?
- We encouarge all levels of involvment. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your personal queries, from programming suggestions to family testimonies to activism. They best way to start getting involved is by attending an event. We look forward to meeting you!
