Shalom – We hope you will join us!
You have probably heard about the March of the Living, an annual trip when 15,000 teens from around the world visit Eastern Europe and Israel and experience a truly life-changing journey.

Now, you’re invited to attend an informational Parlor Meeting to learn about a similar trip for adults (21+) –- the 2014 March of the Living scheduled for April 23 – May 7, 2014, sponsored by the Friends of MOTL (www.friendsofthemarchoftheliving.org).

The Parlor Meeting will be held on Monday, August 19 at 7:30 p.m. at:

Kehillah Schechter Academy (KSA), One Commerce Way, Norwood, Mass.

(just off Rte. 1, behind the Stop & Shop and Home Depot plaza)

The program will feature:

· Welcome by Rabbi David Paskin, Co-Head of KSA

· Overview by Mel Mann of Miami, Bus Captain / Administrator of the Adult MOTL; son of survivors

· Presentation of film trailer by Irv Kempner, organizer for New England’s Adult MOTL contingent (son of survivors); participant in prior MOTL trips as a docent

· Remarks by Sid Handler, survivor and 2014 Adult MOTL participant

· Reflections by Michael Ross (son of survivors) on “What it means to be the son of a survivor who has succeeded in America”

The hour-long program will be followed by a dessert reception and an optional guided tour with Israel ‘Izzy’ Arbeiter of the Israel Arbeiter Gallery of Understanding at the school.
